December 01, 1943 attorney-retired Married 3

Time flies.  I practiced law with a couple of firms for over 32 years before retiring.  I did a fair amount of civil law trial work.  Finally I decided I was going to really learn to play golf.  So now I play bad golf in the summer in SLC and in La Quinta, Ca, in the winter.  My wife and I travel a fair amount (she more than me).  The picture was taken in Puerta Valharta during a cruise to the Panama Canal.  My horseback riding is worse than my golf.

After graduation I attended business college where I learned skills that have served me well my entire life.  Upon graduating from LDS Business College, I hopped onto a plane in San Francisco bound for Hawaii to continue my education.  I happened to sit next to a cute guy from Iowa, Glen Crooks, who not only was going the same place I was, but had arrived in S.F. after riding his bicycle solo across the U.S.  We have been inseparable since.  After two years at Church College of Hawaii (now BYU Hawaii), we finished our degrees at BYU and married two days after graduation.  We have both spent the majority of our careers teaching English and journalism in Utah.  I have taught at Granger High, Granite Park Jr. High, and finished my career at Skyline.  Along the way I received my MEd. and ESL endorsement from the U of U so I can't be "Totally True Blue."

We have two sons and one daughter who have blessed our lives with three adorable granddaughters and one handsome grandson.  They live in Boise and Golden, CO so we put a ton of miles on our cars visiting them.  Traveling has always been a big part of our lives and we have been fortunate to see much of the world over the years.  We love sailing, biking, hiking, riding our ATV's and, of course, reading.  Since our retirement five years ago we have enjoyed spending time between our homes in St. George and Star Valley, Wyoming when we're not taking off on other trips.  Life is great.
Thanks to all the committee members for the long hours and hard work putting this all together.

Adm. Asst. at SLCC Married 3
This was a nice surprise to hear from Gorm. I had never been to any class reunions, but always attended with my sweetheart from Granite High School, Ned Woolsey, who graduated in 1961.

Ned passed away after we were married 30 years and I just remarried to a wonderful man on May 1, 2010. Between us we have 10 children and 30 grandchildren.

I have worked at Salt Lake Community College for 20 years and will be retiring in 2-1/2 years to go on an LDS mission.

After graduation, I went to Weltech College for a year studying electronics. Then I served an LDS mission to Scotland for 2 years, after that I served with Uncle Sam for two years in Germany in the Army.
In 1968 I decided I needed to start looking for a cute girl to settle down with. It just so happened that my younger sister brought one home after school, Karen Bradley, wow was I wooed. We married 3 years later. She is from Granite too.
I worked as a "Hey Culligan man" for a few years then
I hired on to the Salt Lake County Fire dept and retired 27 years later. Now I seem to be busier than before I retired. Don't retire! It can make you busy. At least most of it is a fun busy. I enjoy hiking alot and working on my family history.
At present I am seving in the Salt Lake LDS Temple

I am married to Roy a  1960 Granite graduate.  We were married in 1960 & will celebrate out 52nd wedding anniversary this year.  We are both retired but have a very large private aviary that we take care of and raise various types of birds.  We have rare & ornamental pheasants, ducks, geese, quail, parrots, 2 types of deer, monkey, etc.  I am the editor of a publication for the "Utah Pheasant Society" and we are both very much involved in it.  We had 4 children but lost our youngest son in 1988 when he was 16.  We have 2 grands and  3 greats  .  Which in our opinion are the very cutest ever!!!! 50 years.!  Didn't we just graduate?  After school, I married Mick Davis and we shared 40  wonderful years together. I lost Mick in 2002.   We raised four amazing children.  I always said, one football player and three cheerleaders.   I have 13 grandchildren, (4 are married) and two great grandchildren. I moved to St. George six years after the loss of my husband looking for a new start. I have worked at many jobs.  An assistand buyer, exec. administrative assistant, trainer, restaurant manager and a cook.  The best job of course was that of being Mom, especially Little League Mom.  I love to travel, bowl, volunteer, and acting, in which I have acted in four plays.  I am excited to see everyone at the renioun.
