Self Employed Married
I havn't thought about High School for 50 years but I have often thought about all the wonderful friends I had back then.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all again and maybe making some new friends.
Thank you Gorm for all the hard work you've done to make this happen for us.  I don't remember you but I'll be sure to shake your hand when I see you on August 18th.

He was Station Manager for for Braniff Airlines at Kennedy Airport. We have three wonderful children. Oldest is Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft North America.  Second son is Chief Exec Officer of Toastmasters Int'l and travels a lot.  Daughter - Summer - lives near me and has helped me get through this tough time.  I have been widowed 4.5 years. I am now involved with the Single Adult Program and attend dances once a week and firesides each Sunday evening, etc.  There are really so many wonderful single people to be friends with. I have continued my painting and have painted over 400 paintings. "So many paintings, so little time" We moved to St George in 1979 and have been here ever since. I have been a realtor since 1979 so if you have any idea about retiring to this area please give me a call 435-628-5141 and I promise you great service!  I really don't miss the snow and icy roads.  I did however love to ski.  I have also been a rider of horses.  I haven't done either since I had a hip replacement 2.5 yrs ago.  I love the beauties of this earth and I am ready for adventure.  I have been to Europe seven times some were participating in  Art Workshops.  Wonderful experiences. Can't wait to see you all.  PS  I have run into Bill Boulter, Diane Davis, Barbara Webster, MJ Peterson, Mike Upwall, down here from time to time.

December 28, 1943 Retired Professor Widowed 2
What a wonderful, fulfilling journey I've had since graduation: meeting my husband, Jon, when working in Yellowstone Park with Margie Ashurst Nabours (1963), graduating from UCLA (1967), serving in the Peace Corps in Bogota, Colombia with my husband (1968-70), the birth of our two daughters in San Francisco (1972, 1980), returning to UCSF to become a physical therapist (1976), having our Hungarian nephew live with us while he attended UC Berkeley (1990-95), retiring from the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Phyical Therapy as an Associate Clinical Professor (2007), birth of 5 grandchildren who live in DC and Hawaii, and traveling in Europe, South America, China and the US.

Major challenges:  the deaths of my beloved husband, Jon, (2003), my sister-in-law (2011) and 2 Peace Corps friends (1975, 2006).

Recreational accomplishments:  learning to ski at 40, hiking to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite (2010), running 7 half marathons since 2008 and keeping up with my youngest grandchild (3 years old).

See you all soon!!!

February 13, 1944 Retired school teacher Married 8

I served an LDS mission to New Zealand. I married up with Lana Fowler, a Granitian (class of '63), with whom I am still madly in love. We have 8 children and 14 grandchildren. I received my bachelor's degree from the U of U and my M.Ed. from Utah State. I taught school at Evergreen Jr. in Granite District, then taught English as a second language in the Tonga Islands for 3 years. I taught at Union Middle School in Jordan District for 30 years. I also taught English at S.L.C.C. at night. My twin and I are also famous artists  but no one knows it. We perfected artistic skills in our remedial math class--doodling while the teacher was trying to explain how abc=xyz. We have published a couple of novels. All ten copies are flying off the shelves. I have acted on stage at the U and in community theater and have been in 4 movies, but have not yet been nominated as best supporting extra. I wrote curriculum for the LDS Church for 8 years, so if you didn't sluff church too often, you may have heard some of my lesson material--if you didn't fall asleep.

Architect bc-architects.com Married 2
After Granite, I attended the University of Utah, spent time in British Columbia and Alaska and returned to the U for a degree in Architecture.  I've been an architect ever since.  I've been married to my first for 42 happy years.  I have two children, Molly and Thomas, both very intelligent and terrific people.  They both have great wives who complete our close family.

Over the last 50 years I've had a lot of adventure.  I've driven the Alaska highway in winter, worked on a cattle ranch, spent time in Haight-Ashbury, driving to Denver on a motorcycle for a honeymoon.  I've sung with local musicians over a Guiness in Ireland, had single malt in Scotland, pilsner in Prague, and moonshine in Tennessee.  I've cruised the honkey tonks in Nashville, Austine, Beale St. and Bourbon St, been to Graceland and Dollywood.  I've had tea in Devon, fish and chips in London, paprika in Budapest and Sacer torts in Vienna.

Music continues to be an important part of my whole family's life.
