January 11, 1944 Retired Married 5
After graduating from Granite, I attended the University of Utah and the University of Utah College of Law graduating in 1969.  I married Elizabeth White from Paradise (UT) in 1967.  We served a year in VISTA in Northern Kentucky fighting the war against poverty.  I served two years as the state director of the Office of Economic Opportunity then went into private practice.  I practiced law until 2011 when I retired.  We have two beautiful daughters, one living in Washington D.C. and the other in Draper, Utah (on the top of the mountain, not the point of the mountain).  We have three granddaughters and two gransons.  I've taken up rock hounding (collecting minerals) and traveling.  My goal is to visit every national park in the U.S. Send MIchael a MessageSend MIchael a Message

Hi,  After leaving High School I worked my way through college in Grand Teton National Park, at the Pagoda in SLC and in my father's small manufacturing business... Waitress to drill press operator... What an experience.
After I decided I was finished with the U of U, I came to live in the Jackson Hole Valley, Wyoming... Like many of our classmates, I have done many things to earn a living... Camp cook for a river float trip company, tying fishing flies that ended up in the Orvis sales bins, purchasing agent for a book shop, floor manager and soft goods buyer for a sporting goods shop, art and music substitute teacher, caretaker at a dude ranch, etc. etc... most running consecutively...  However, something I have been enjoying for a while now is my fiber art... I fashion objects D'art from wild-crafted indigenous materials... My last work was a Mask of Zeus... I only sell in galleries and only show when I am invited to... Therefore, the proverbial starving artist.
I have been married to Patrick Terrance McCoy for 45 years... Yes, we are Pat and Patty... Sounds like a dance team... We have two handsome, bright and humorous sons and two terrifically cute granddaughters... We live on top of Heck of a Hill in Wilson, Wyoming... (look it up it's a real place)... And my motion detecting camera just caught a black bear on film in our back yard...
I really hope I can come to the reunion and visit with all...
     Love always... Patty Tamura McCoy

I received an undergraduate degree from the U of U in 1966 and a law degree from UCLA in 1969. I practiced law in Salt Lake for 36 yaers. The last 16 years of practice I was a principal in McDowell and Gillman, a small firm specializing in bankruptcy and corporate reorganization.       I married Ann Marie Miller in 1999. Three years ago, we moved to San Luis Obispo County on California's central coast.
I spend time trying to stay in shape by running and working out at the gym. I like to cook and attend classical music classes. We have done some traveling including spending the month of May touring Italy.

I can't believe it has been 50 years since we graduated!!!  I started working for the Federal Government in August 1962.  I worked for the Bureau of Reclamation.  I met and married Roger Meyer (from Olympus) in March 1967.  I quit my job in December and we had our first son, Scott, in 1968.  Tracy was born in 1969, Jeff in 1970, Pamela 1974, and Tiffany in 1976.  We had a stillborn baby girl, Amy, in 1978.  Then tragedy struck and we lost Tracy in a 3-wheeler accident in 1984 when he was 15.  We were shelter parents - took in neglected and abused children until they found them a foster home, adoptive parents, or sent them back home.  I went back to work in 1987 as an administrative technician for U. S. Geological Survey.  I did their travel, payroll, personnel, property, and mail.  I retired in 2005.   We now have 15 beautiful grandchildren, ranging in age from 17 to 3 months. We have been on many cruises and had some great trips in the motorhome.   We enjoy traveling, but don't do it as much as we use to because I am taking care of my daughter's little boy while she works as a nurse.  It would be great to hear from those who knew me way back then!!   Send Shauna a MessageSend Shauna a Message

July 08 Divorced 3

Wow 50 years.  For me, life has been like a roller coaster ride
up and down and round and round. Something new at every turn.
I have three children -2 sons and one daughter and eight grandchildren - 6 boys and 2 girls. I have so much fun with all of them.
Due to several moves, I have enjoyed several occupations -
Human Resources and P.R., Districgt Sales Manager, Real Estate
Agent. interior design and office management.   However, my favorite was a Clothing Designer for a major manufacturer which eventually closed due to overseas competition.  Currently, I am working part-time at Home Depot as a design specialist,
part-time as office manager and designing specialy clothing for
doll designers.  No retirement in site...
